I apologize in advance for the terrible quality pic.  I asked hubs to snap one quickly, as we’d just wrangled both kids into snowsuits and carseat and were on our way out, and the DSLR was not handy, so we’re back to the land of cell phone pics.

Despite the bad pic, I loved this outfit.  These are the pink tights I picked up at Joe Fresh last weekend, and in person, they give a really fun pop of colour to the black dress.  Black and pink are pretty much one of my favourite combinations (despite this, I swear I’m in my thirties), so I love the pink belt with the pink tights.

It’s hard to see the details of my boots, but they are lace-up, heeled boots.  I’ve had them for a while, and I wear them all the time.  They are so great for winter dress-up outfits.

I wore this outfit for drinks with some friends.  Because of my girls’ bedtimes, I knew I was going to be earlier than everyone else, so in my clutch, I’ve actually stashed my Kobo, and I was able to get in a good half-hour of solo reading time (while sipping wine and waiting for my friends).  You will find no complaints here.  :)
